Next meeting we are dream boarding!
We're doing Pinterest the old fashioned way....grab some magazines or pictures that you can cut up (please make sure you have permission to use them...don't borrow your family's new mags without asking, especially if they haven't read them yet!)
Dream boarding means that we take a bunch of pictures of things that inspire us...places we want to go, things we want to do (like bungee jumping for example) or other visual representations of things we are thinking or dreaming about and put them all into one collage. Maybe you want to redecorate your rooms and you're dreaming about paint colours or maybe there's a new hobby that fascinates you that you're dying to try. Maybe its a book list or a "must see concerts list" or anything! Your dream board can be anything YOU want it to be!
We'll supply the boards themselves...you supply the dreams!

Next Meeting
There is no CGIT next week (Monday, March 12th).
But, we will be meeting on Monday, March 19th, to celebrate the Day for the Elimination of Racism. We will be gathering at 6pm upstairs in the youth lounge to share supper and watch Hairspray. Please bring a "cultural dish" for our potluck... anything that your family traditionally enjoys! We'll eat and watch the movie, and be wrapped up for 8:30 as usual! :)

Thoughts from tonight!
Please add your email address to the 'follow by email' tab to the left. That way, you'll be updated immediately when we update the blog! :) (you'll be asked to confirm this through an email that will likely go to your junk mail... check there first! :))
Here's the link to The Interview with God, one of the most loving messages I've found in my growing! :)

Book Recommendations Part 2-
SO MANY BOOKS! :) My list definitely grew huge tonight (and I'm so excited to have a big list for that section in my new geeky binder! ;))!
Please leave me a comment with your favourite book titles and any info you might want to add. I'll stick it in a new page at the top ^ for us to peruse. I'm going to keep it fairly informal... so I apologize right now for the lack of organization! ;)
Comment away! :) I'll update as I can. Hopefully this list keeps us all in good reads for a while.

Book Recommendations ...
Hey girls!
Bring a list of your favourite books for tomorrow! Let's share the best of the best... or even just the really good, quick, summer fun reads that aren't too deep but are very fun!
If you have books that you're willing to lend out, bring them too! Let's share! :)
